Touhey has held senior leadership roles including Group Publisher, President, General Manager, and Senior Group Publisher with organizations such as Tribune, Hearst Newspapers, GateHouse Media, Wick Communications, M. Roberts Media, and Osteen Media. Her experience spans sales, marketing, editorial, digital, production, distribution, and events, with a strong history of aligning strategy and execution to deliver measurable results. She is widely recognized for editorial excellence, driving revenue transformation through digital growth and innovative new product development with a consultative sales model.

Touhey utilizes a people-first leadership style, building high-performing teams through accountability, leadership development, and organizational alignment. She is also deeply committed to community engagement, supporting initiatives that strengthen local businesses, audiences, and nonprofit organizations, particularly those serving children and families.

Touhey and her husband, Patrick, have been married for more than 47 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren and enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and giving back to their community. She is relocating to the Athens area in the near future and hopes to get involved with the local organizations.
